It's less cold now! Yay!

Hey everybody!

So this week was pretty cool. Actually the first part of it was stinking cold! On Tuesday, it was so cold (-40 wind chill) that the mission made us stay inside all day and study and stuff. The first couple of hours were fun, and then it got pretty dang boring. I mean, I love the Book of Mormon and stuff, but you can only read it for so long without getting burned out. Plus I was on exchanges with the District Leader, so I wasn't even in my own apartment. It was cool though :) It's like 80 degrees warmer now, so a little above freezing, so now it's more comfortable biking around. ;)

Transfer #9 started for me today. That's pretty crazy to think. (You have 17 transfers as an Elder) We had transfer calls Saturday night, and Elder Fox is staying with me for another transfer, so I'm happy about that!

We had a Zone Meeting this week too. The meeting was great, and the trip there was pretty terrifying. The Sisters in the district are the only ones with a car (it's actually a van, so the whole district can fit in it), so they drove everyone to the meeting. This was on Wednesday, so everything was still SUPER slippery, and the Sister that was driving, didn't really know how to drive in snow. When we were getting on the highway, we started sliding around, but somehow didn't crash. It was a stressy ride.

Our most progressing investigator came to church for the first time on Sunday, so that was great. She really enjoyed church, and is wanting to get baptized, so we're trying hard to help her get to that point :)

The other Elders in my district got shot at the other day, so that's pretty cool! ;) It's okay though. People in Detroit are lousy shots, and the Lord protects His servants, so we're safe :)

Anyways, that's about it.

Thanks for reading! :)

This is how you have to wear it so it doesn't flop around when you're riding your bike.
