Happy Thanksgiving

Hey everybody!

This week was pretty good! The campaign of getting members to trust us more is moving along quite well, so that's pretty encouraging.
We've still been doing a lot of work with a kid in the Ward that enters the MTC the day Elder Page goes home, and that's been really cool. He's been coming to district meeting, and we've been taking him tracting and to less-actives and stuff. What's probably been the coolest part though, is seeing how much he's grown in this little bit of time. He was really shy at first and wouldn't say a word, but now he's giving these really profound comments during lessons and stuff. It's sweet to see.

The 'ol investigator pool is still pretty dry, but we have faith that it will change soon.

Last week I said that I would be doing a musical number in sacrament meeting yesterday with somebody's viola, but it ended up not working out for this week, but I should be playing in a couple more Sundays. The reason it didn't happen was that the lady that was supposed to accompany me had to go out of town because her mother fell and hurt herself, so she left to spend time with her.

Thanksgiving was good! We had quite a few people invite us like the day before, so we didn't go hungry or anything. We were actually not supposed to go to more than one Thanksgiving dinner, but we got permission to go to a lunch and a dinner with instructions to not spend very long at either. So an older couple in the ward invited us over for a Thanksgiving lunch at like 2:00, and somebody else invited us over a dinner at 5:00. Long story short, we didn't start eating at the first one until 4:00, and then had to book it over to our other appointment. The older couple have been experiencing some health issues and injuries, so they were moving slower than usual. We tried to help as best we could, but it still took a while. It was still very nice of both groups of people to have us over.

One of our less-actives, Richard, is doing awesome! We've been having some amazing breakthrough lessons with him. He's been reading the scriptures trying to deepen his relationship with Christ, and he even came to church on Sunday! We saw him on Friday, and he committed to come to church (Which is big) so we were really looking out for him right before church, and we had a little scare when his wife and daughter walked in without him. But to our much rejoicing, he walked in a few minutes later!

So yeah, that's about it :)

Anyways, thanks for reading! Hope you all have a great week!

We saw a pretty cool tractor pulling car the other day, so we stopped to take a picture.

When deer hunting season rolls around, it's a pretty big thing here in Michigan. :)
